- Experience in bakery or deli preferred
- Previous retail experience beneficial
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment
- Offer product samples to customers to assist with discovering new items
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide fresh products with correct portion sizes to reduce shrink
- Recommend deli or bakery items to fulfill customer needs
- Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following guidelines
- Maintain food safety by adhering to temperature logs and cooking instructions
