Job Duties

Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products
Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
Recommend deli or bakery items to customers
Use equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines
Maintain food temperature logs and follow cooking instructions
