- Create outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- maintain a clean and safe environment
- assist department manager in sales and profit goals
- monitor quality assurance standards
- embrace Customer 1st strategy and encourage excellent customer service
- prepare bakery and deli items using proper equipment
- offer product samples to customers
- inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- provide fresh products and correct portion sizes
- recommend items to customers
- use bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- prepare foods following food temperature logs and recipes
- package, label, and inventory ingredients
- check product quality and sell-by dates
- label, stock, and inventory merchandise
- report ordering and shipping discrepancies
- locate products as requested by customers
- stay current on ads and promotions
- maintain knowledge of department products
- ensure proper temperature logs and safety compliance
- promote respect and trust among associates
- answer customer questions
- adhere to food safety regulations
- identify and report unsafe conditions
- perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- notify management of accidents
- manage conflict cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity
- seek assistance to resolve issues
