- Ability to handle food safely and maintain product freshness
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment
- Offer product samples to customers to promote new items
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide fresh products with correct portion sizes to minimize shrink
- Recommend deli or bakery items to customers
- Use bakery equipment including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines
- Prepare foods following food temperature logs and cooking instructions
