Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in baking or food preparation
  • Ability to stand for 4-8 hours
  • Ability to lift and handle ingredient bags and products
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to operate power equipment
  • Understanding of food safety practices

Job Duties

  • Start shift by turning on equipment
  • Remove doughnuts, breads, or other products from cooler
  • Put doughnuts on screens and breads in loaf pans then into proofing box for rising
  • Scoop doughnut mix or other mixes into mixer, add ingredients, mix and form products
  • Operate doughnut cutter
  • Lower doughnuts into fryer
  • Glaze, ice or decorate doughnuts
  • Remove breads and other products from proofer, bake in oven, and cool
  • Cut, bag or package baked products
  • Perform break-out by removing products from freezer and preparing for next day
  • Wash utensils and clean work area
