- Familiarity with bakery or deli operations helpful
- Retail experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment
- Offer product samples to customers to help them discover new items
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide fresh products in correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs
- Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following company guidelines
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise accurately
