Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items using proper equipment
- offer product samples to customers
- inform customers about specials
- provide fresh products in correct portions
- recommend bakery and deli items
- use kitchen equipment according to guidelines
- prepare foods following temperature logs and recipes
- package, label, and inventory products
- check product quality and freshness
- operate kitchen tools and equipment
- stock and inventory merchandise
- report ordering and shipping discrepancies
- locate products for customers
- maintain knowledge of products and promotions
- monitor inventory and stocking conditions
- ensure food safety compliance
- maintain proper temperatures and logs
- promote respect among associates
