- Bakery or deli experience is helpful
- Retail experience
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
- Offer product samples to customers to help them discover new items or products
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- Recommend deli or bakery items to ensure customers get products they want and need
- Use all bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines
- Prepare foods following food temperature logs and cooking instructions
