- Experience in bakery or deli preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment
- Offer product samples to help customers discover new items
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to minimize shrink
- Recommend deli or bakery items to customers based on their needs
- Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following company guidelines
- Follow food temperature logs and cooking instructions to prepare foods safely
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment
- Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise accurately
- Check product quality and freshness regularly
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs
- Maintain knowledge of products and promotions
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and reinforce safety procedures
- Report ordering, shipping discrepancies, and equipment needs to management
- Create a welcoming environment and provide excellent customer service
- Practice preventive maintenance and notify management of hazards or accidents
- Manage conflicts cooperatively and act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
