Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals
- monitor all quality assurance standards

- answer customer questions regarding products
- prepare and decorate bakery items including cakes and pastries
- offer product samples and recommendations
- check product quality and freshness
- label, stock, sign, and inventory merchandise
- report product ordering and shipping discrepancies
- locate products for customers
- maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions
- adhere to health and safety regulations
- ensure compliance with merchandising and loss prevention rules
- identify and report safety risks and maintenance needs
