Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment
- offer product samples to customers to encourage discovery of new items
- inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to minimize waste
- recommend deli or bakery items based on customer needs
- use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines
- prepare foods following food temperature logs and cooking instructions
