Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals
- Monitor all established quality assurance standards
- Answer customer questions regarding products
- Prepare and decorate bakery items including wedding cakes
- Label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise
- Report product ordering and shipping discrepancies
- Check product quality and freshness
- Use bakery equipment according to guidelines
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Follow merchandising, labor control, and loss prevention policies
- Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
- Report safety risks and illegal activity
- Maintain knowledge of products and store layout
