  • Ability to plan and organize the inventory process and maintain awareness of stocking conditions
  • Ability to ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are kept
  • Ability to reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and inspecting equipment
  • Ability to report all safety risks, issues, and illegal activity
  • Ability to adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Current food handlers permit once employed
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Any management experience
  • Any bakery or retail experience
  • Second language skills in speaking, reading and/or writing
