Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior baking or food preparation experience preferred
- Food safety certification required
- Ability to operate baking equipment safely
- Good physical health to handle lifting, standing, and bending tasks
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interaction
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a baker or in a similar capacity preferred
- Recognized proficiency in baking methods, requirements, and food safety laws
- Food safety certification is obligatory
- Proficient understanding of basic math concepts and counting procedures
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal forms
- Ability to perform physical functions such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment and uniforms as required
Job Duties
- Prepare a diverse array of baked goods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Set up work area with all required tools and ingredients for baking process
- Assemble ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and other essential actions
- Handle baking apparatus like ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Exercise safety measures while using kitchen tools including knives
- Comply with food safety regulations for adequate storage of food
- Clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils after task completion
- Ensure top-notch customer service and maintain friendly demeanor
- Uphold Aramark safety policies and ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
- Follow prescribed security protocols to protect company resources
