Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Capability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, kneel, and pivot for 5-8 hours per day
- Exposure to hot and cold environments for extended periods
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous bakery or food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Capable of working in a physically demanding environment
- Willingness to learn and accept direction from management
Job Duties
- Assist with the bakery operation within the retail store environment including preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Smile, make eye contact and thank customers when fulfilling requests
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
- Assist and create customer special orders such as cake orders
- Operate bakery department equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils
- Adhere to corporate and state sanitation and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness
- Control shrink through adherence to policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
