Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures

- follow food handling and safety protocols
- safely operate bakery equipment including slicers, ovens, fryers, mixers, case cutters, utility knives, pallet jacks, and compact balers (forklift certification required for forklift use)

- maintain proper sanitation and food safety standards

Job Duties
- Consistently demonstrate the Woods Supermarket D>E service and Hospitality 4 guidelines
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company standards
- notify management of guest or teammate accidents or injuries
- report all safety risks and illegal activity including robbery, theft or fraud
- be respectful, courteous, and helpful to other teammates
- stay current with all ads
- understand the store's layout and assist guests to products
- perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
- perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- follow proper food handling and safety protocols
- ensure proper sanitation of department and equipment
- follow technical manuals for product processing, including label placement and packaging
- update displays and cases to showcase new items and promotions
- prep, store, rotate, and stock merchandise
- prepare items per guest requests using proper equipment
- inform guests of department specials and make recommendations
- provide guests with fresh products and correct portion sizes
- use equipment according to company guidelines
- prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients
- check product quality to ensure freshness, review sell by dates and act accordingly
- report ordering or shipping discrepancies
- maintain inventory and stocking conditions
- ensure proper temperatures and maintain temperature logs
- prepare foods according to cooking instructions and temperature logs
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment
