Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Consistently demonstrate the Woods Supermarket D&E service and Hospitality 4 guidelines
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company standards
- Notify management of guest or teammate accidents or injuries
- Report all safety risks and illegal activity including robbery, theft, or fraud
- Be respectful, courteous, and helpful to other teammates
- Stay current with all ads
- Understand the store's layout and assist guests to products
- Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by managers
- Follow proper food handling and safety protocols
- Ensure proper sanitation of department and equipment
- Follow all technical manuals for processing products including label placement and packaging
- Update displays, cases, and guest-facing areas to showcase new items and promotions
- Prep, store, rotate, and stock merchandise
- Prepare items per guest requests using proper equipment
- Inform guests of department-specific specials and make recommendations when asked
- Provide guests with fresh products with correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- Use all equipment according to company guidelines
- Prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients in merchandise
- Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell by dates
- Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies to the department manager
- Maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions noting discrepancies
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs
- Follow all food safety guidelines
- Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment
