Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Ensure fresh and appealing bakery displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products
- stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas
- monitor and prevent spoilage and communicate waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- assist with periodic inventory checks
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service, addressing needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and modeling suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follow and comply, or ensure compliance, with procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and equipment per WFM standards
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned and ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
