Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
  • hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Ensure a fresh and appealing display by cleaning and stocking cases and shelves
  • stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas
  • monitor and prevent spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors
  • maintain back stock in good order
  • assist with sampling program and keep sample areas appealing
  • assist with periodic inventory checks
  • arrive to work station on time, groomed and ready to work
  • provide excellent customer service and address customer needs in a timely manner
  • maximize sales potential through proper product handling and merchandising
  • follow established procedures including health, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • maintain a clean and sanitary working environment
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties
  • report safety hazards immediately
  • perform other duties assigned by leadership
