Job Requirements

21+ years old
1+ years of experience in food and beverage serving preferred
ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks in a fast paced, evolving environment
ability to follow directions and established procedures with attention to detail
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
team-player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
clear and effective communication style, both written and verbal
basic math skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
food handlers certificate (ServSafe or ANSI compliant)
RBS certificate
1+ years of experience in food and beverage serving preferred
effective prioritization in fast paced environment
ability to follow directions with attention to detail
flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
team-player with ability to work independently
clear and effective verbal and written communication
basic math skills
21+ years old

Job Duties

provide excellent customer service
address customer needs and answer questions in a timely manner
accurately operate bakery cash register
acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, products, and services
take detailed orders including customer preferences
communicate with baking and decorating staff regarding special orders
prepare and serve hot and cold beverages
maintain cleanliness and stock at beverage station
maintain and stock display cases
prepare, package, price, and merchandise bakery products
organize and rotate stock and supplies
clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
operate equipment such as register, espresso machine, bagel toaster, bread slicer
answer phones and pages promptly
comply with health, safety, and sanitation procedures
report safety hazards to supervisors
perform opening, mid, and closing duties
work all scheduled shifts and attend required training
perform other duties as assigned
