Job Requirements

  • Has a passion for merchandising and supports vendor and PCC Bakery departments
  • Strong visual merchandising skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic math for inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask and balance priorities in a retail environment
  • Strong time management and creative problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional level of performance in current role including excellent customer service and health and safety knowledge
  • Demonstrated proficiency in bakery practices or equivalent experience
  • Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Manage inventory for the bakery program including ordering and stock rotation
  • Create and maintain visually attractive product displays aligned with company standards and seasonal promotions
  • Collaborate with the Deli Manager and Retail Merchandiser to review sales performance and adjust orders
  • Execute seasonal and promotional merchandising setups and holiday features
  • Work closely with the in-house bakery team to coordinate merchandising with daily production
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure shelves are well-stocked and minimize waste
  • Maintain open communication with other departments to support cross-merchandising opportunities
