Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged equivalency
- less than a year of experience in baking or kitchen environment
- ability to stand roam or stay seated for lengthy periods
- ability to manage transport propel or tug items weighing less than 25 lbs without help
- physical capability to bend twist and reach up and down while pulling and stooping
- ability to engage in activities on unstable or irregular terrains including stairs and ramps
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged equivalency preferred
- less than a year of specific experience in baking pastry making or working in a kitchen environment preferred
- ability to engage in professional communication with team members and guests
- demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset
Job Duties
- bake a variety of goods including pastries bread desserts and more using standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- scale blend divide and lay out the ingredients needed for the daily baking operations
- safely manage and maintain baking machinery and equipment in good condition
- watch over ovens and kitchen tools to validate that the appropriate cooking times and temperatures are adhered to
- abide by rules related to food safety and sanitation practices including the correct storage of food items personal hygiene practices and the cleanliness of the kitchen
- follow kitchen guidelines for setting up and dismantling workstations
- maintain the same standard of food quality and consistency for every batch made during the shift
