Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Less than one year of experience in baking pastry-making or working in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain food safety standards
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle weights under 25 lbs
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team
  • Adherence to personal hygiene and cleanliness protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and kitchen guidelines
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation

Job Duties

  • Bake a variety of goods including pastries bread desserts and more using standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Scale blend divide and lay out ingredients for daily baking operations
  • Safely manage and maintain baking machinery and equipment in good condition
  • Monitor ovens and kitchen tools to ensure correct cooking times and temperatures
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation practices including proper storage personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Follow kitchen guidelines for setting up and dismantling workstations
  • Maintain consistent food quality and presentation for every batch
  • Keep bakery and kitchen area clean safe and organized
  • Communicate professionally with team members and guests
  • Assist fellow associates and contribute to a team environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
