Job Requirements
- Firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- minimum one year of full-time equivalent bakery production experience or culinary certification/degree from an accredited culinary school
- physical exam and lift test
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times daily
- willingness to work in varying temperature and occasionally wet environments
- capacity to work at heights or in awkward positions
- worthy to hold a current temple recommend for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

- minimum of one year of full-time equivalent bakery production experience or a culinary certification/degree from an accredited culinary school
- preferred five years of full-time equivalent bakery production experience or culinary certification/degree
- ability to supervise part-time and student employees
- completion of food safety training
- proficiency in inventory and ordering systems
Job Duties
- Learn bakery standard operations procedures
- production of cakes, breads, cookies and desserts for campus dining operations
- prepare and organize orders
- utilize computerized inventory/ordering system to establish production schedules
- verify product inventories
- completing training and food safety courses per CSC requirements
- cleaning and sanitizing bakery equipment and preparation surfaces
- supervise part-time and student employees
