Job Requirements
- a firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- 1 year of full-time equivalent bakery production experience or a culinary certification/degree from an accredited culinary school
- physical exam and lift test
- ability to lift 20-50 lbs frequently
- ability to work in variable temperatures
- members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend

Job Duties
- learn bakery standard operations procedures
- production of cakes, breads, cookies and desserts for campus dining operations
- prepare and organize orders
- utilize computerized inventory/ordering system to establish production schedules
- verify product inventories
- complete training and food safety courses per CSC requirements
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment and preparation surfaces
- supervise part-time and student employees
