Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the bakery
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
- ensure the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily
- assist customers with cake and special orders
- wash and put away bowls, pans, and baking trays
- deliver excellent customer service
- accurately package and label bakery products
- fill shelves and display cases with product
- restock the bakery department and assist with sorting and putting away bakery deliveries
- minimize waste by following production sheets and rotating items properly
- assist managers, bakers, cake decorators, and artisan bakers as needed
- mix and scoop cookies
- proof and bake items
- assist customers by writing on cakes
- perform other related duties as assigned
