Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour workday
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), and greater than 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

- knowledge of artisan breads and pastries including cake decorating

Job Duties
- produce quality breads and pastries
- produce doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
- perform baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
- stock dry products
- develop new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
- train production personnel to the highest standards in industry
- perform production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
- maintain all production modules in the Datapax system
- provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
