Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing and walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • required motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • work in temperatures around 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in both wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders
  • no prior retail experience required

Job Duties

  • Produce quality breads and pastries
  • produce doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • perform baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stock dry products
  • develop new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • train production personnel to the highest industry standards
  • perform production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintain all production modules in the Datapax system
  • provide excellent customer service and address customer needs efficiently
  • maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
  • ensure compliance with established procedures including health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • report safety hazards and violations promptly
  • perform other duties as assigned by leadership
