Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking 6-8 hours per 8-hour shift
  • Ability to perform single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • Exposure to temperatures ranging from below freezing to above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • May require use of ladders

  • Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries including cake decorating

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • Stocks dry products
  • Develops new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance and productivity
  • Trains production personnel to industry standards
  • Performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • Maintains all production modules in the Datapax system
  • Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling
  • Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • Follows and ensures compliance with health and sanitation regulations
  • Maintains clean and sanitary working environment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • Reports safety hazards immediately
