Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
  • ability to use single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling hand motions
  • ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • tolerance for temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other machinery
  • ability to safely use ladders

Job Duties

  • Produce quality breads and pastries
  • produce doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • perform baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stock dry products
  • develop new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • train production personnel to the highest industry standards
  • perform production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintain all production modules in the Datapax system
  • provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques
  • maximize sales potential through effective product prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising
  • comply with health, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties
  • report safety hazards and violations immediately
  • perform other duties assigned by leadership
