Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
  • Ability to perform hand use motions such as grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, and heavy machinery
  • May require use of ladders

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries including cake decorating
  • Positive attitude and passion for baking
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • Stocks dry products
  • Develops new recipes and production techniques
  • Trains production personnel
  • Performs production planning and forecasting
  • Maintains production modules in the Datapax system
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Maximizes sales potential through proper product handling
  • Follows health and sanitation regulations
  • Maintains clean and sanitary work environment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • Reports safety hazards promptly
  • Performs other duties as assigned
