Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • able to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
  • ability to use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • capable of bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders
  • must arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
  • works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • trains production personnel to the highest industry standards
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
