Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour day
  • ability to use hand motions including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • capable of bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to freezing and high temperatures
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment like knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • trains production personnel to the highest industry standards
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintains all production modules in the Datapax system
  • provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly
  • maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • follows and ensures compliance with health and sanitation regulations
  • maintains a clean and sanitary working environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • reports safety hazards and violations
  • performs other duties as assigned by leadership
