Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing and walking for 6-8 hours per 8-hour shift
  • hand use involving single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in various temperature conditions including freezing and hot environments
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produce quality breads and pastries
  • produce doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • perform baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stock dry products
  • develop new recipes and production techniques
  • train production personnel
  • perform production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintain production modules in Datapax system
  • provide excellent customer service
  • address customer needs in a timely manner
  • maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • follow and comply with health and sanitation procedures
  • maintain clean and sanitary working and shopping environments
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties
  • ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
  • report safety hazards and violations
  • perform other duties as assigned
