Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing and walking 6-8 hours per day
  • hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • work requires bending, twisting, squatting, reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to freezing and high temperatures
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
  • ability to use knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques
  • trains production personnel
  • performs production planning and forecasting
  • maintains production modules in Datapax system
  • provides excellent customer service
  • maximizes sales potential through proper product handling and merchandising
  • follows health and safety regulations
  • maintains cleanliness
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • reports safety hazards
  • performs other duties as assigned
