Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • able to stand or walk 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
  • able to use hand motions such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • able to perform physical motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintains all production modules in the Datapax system
  • provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs
  • follows and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations
  • maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • reports safety hazards and violations promptly
  • supports store, regional, or national leadership with other duties as assigned
