Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Standing or walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
  • Ability to perform hand use tasks such as single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Capacity to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in temperature ranges from freezing (less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit) to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • Availability for flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • May require use of ladders

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating
  • Demonstrates positive attitude, energy, and passion for baking the best breads and pastries
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrates a passion for cleanliness
  • Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • Stocks dry products
  • Develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • Trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
  • Performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
