Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours
  • hand use includes grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • able to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
  • able to work in varying temperatures including freezing and hot
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to use tools such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques
  • trains production personnel to industry standards
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintains production modules in the Datapax system
  • arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
  • provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling
  • maximizes sales through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • follows health and safety regulations
  • maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • reports safety hazards
  • performs other duties as assigned
