Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • able to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
  • able to use single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling hand functions
  • able to perform bending, twisting, squatting and reaching motions
  • exposed to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposed to temperatures ranging from below 32 degrees to above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintains all production modules in the Datapax system
  • provides excellent customer service and addresses needs in a timely and effective manner
  • maximizes sales potential through effective preparation, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • follows and ensures compliance with established procedures, including health and sanitation
  • maintains a clean and sanitary environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
  • immediately reports safety hazards and violations
  • performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
