Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • work in temperatures ranging from freezing to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Produce quality breads and pastries
  • produce doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • perform baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stock dry products
  • develop new recipes and production techniques
  • train production personnel to the highest industry standards
  • perform production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintain all production modules in the Datapax system
  • provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
  • maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
  • follow and ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safe work practices
  • maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties
  • report safety hazards and violations
  • perform other duties as assigned by leadership
