Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
- Exemplifies health department standards
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Job Qualifications
- Proven artistic skills in a production environment
- Deep knowledge and interest in patisserie, cake decorating techniques and food culture
- Working knowledge of all bakery service areas and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understands and upholds ready for business standards
- Performance oriented, conscientious and thrives in a collaborative environment
- Must be a positive team player, have a willingness to learn new things and effectively manage through change
- Ability to train others in decorating and patisserie handling and product management
- Demonstrates effective organization and time management skills
- Working knowledge of inventory management, product rotation, forecasting and ordering practices
- Must possess an attitude of service to others
- Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, customers, and vendors
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Embraces 360 feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development

- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Works in bakery production kitchen specifically assigned to the decorating of cakes and patisserie items
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, customers, corporate staff and vendor community
- Provides and role models excellent customer service
- Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout the kitchen
- Assists in the training and development of employees
- Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including customers, staff and leadership
- Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
- Maintains department in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
- Ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
- Demonstrates attitude of service to staff and customers
- Keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
- Supports and follows all company and department policies
- Supports and follows all safety/security policies and sustainability programs
- Operates within the Company’s Core Values and Company Brand
