Job Requirements
- Knowledge and prior experience in bakery production including dough mixing, cutting, rolling, laying, forming, filling, shaping, and slicing
- Ability to prepare various fillings such as fruits, meat, paste, custards
- Knowledge of fermentation and baking time control and temperature monitoring
- Food Safe Certification
- Good communication skills
- ability to communicate in English, Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings
- Good organizational and problem-solving ability
- Ability to maintain workplace cleanliness and safety
- Team player attitude
- Accountable and pleasant demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Possess knowledge and prior experience in making bakery products including dough mixing, cutting, rolling, laying, forming, filling, shaping, and slicing
- Prepare various fillings such as fruits, meat, paste, custards
- Control fermentation and baking time and monitor temperature of cooler and oven
- Ability to decorate bread, cakes, or other pastries
- Possess knowledge in workplace health and safety and food safety requirements including Food Safe Certification
- Good communication skills
- able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is an asset
- Good organization and problem-solving skills
- A good team player
- Flexible to work in various shifts including weekdays, weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours
Job Duties
- Produce the correct quantity of assigned products based on orders received
- Perform production duties for various bakery products including dough mixing, cutting, rolling, laying, forming, filling, shaping, and slicing
- Prepare various fillings such as fruits, meat, paste, custards
- Control fermentation and baking time, monitor temperature of cooler and oven
- Decorate bread, cakes, or other pastries
- Control product quality, freshness, inventory level, and wastage
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance, and workplace safety
- Answer customers' enquiries
