Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year of production experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate bakery processing equipment
  • Ability to follow written instructions and safety protocols
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
  • Capability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
  • Ability to work in a moderately noisy and humid environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of production experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand batch sheets and recipes
  • Familiarity with production machinery operation
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • CPT certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Operates the processing and baking equipment to produce product within quality standards
  • Properly mixes ingredients and monitors temperature and moisture levels
  • Operates and shuts down bakery equipment including changeovers and preventative maintenance
  • Communicates and escalates quality issues
  • Reads and follows batch sheets and accurately weighs raw materials
  • Monitors and logs temperatures, mix times, and weights
  • Follows sanitation procedures and handles chemicals safely
  • Moves raw ingredients using forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Maintains raw material inventory and updates personnel
  • Practices safety and hygiene guidelines including 5S housekeeping
  • Reports defective equipment and any job-related injuries
  • May be required to work mandatory overtime
  • Performs other duties as assigned
