Job Requirements
- Minimum education level of 16 years of age
- Food Handler certification
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate motorized equipment
- Ability to follow safety and quality standards
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, or stoop frequently
- Must report hazards to supervisors
- Attendance at work is required
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age required
- Must be 18 years of age to operate or clean motorized equipment
- Food Handler certification required
- Typically involves on-the-job training
- Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment such as bread slicer and commercial oven
- Ability to use precision and non-precision hand tools under supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with partners and customers
- Ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment
- Ability to learn new systems, methods, or processes
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or report them promptly
Job Duties
- Assist bakery personnel with baking, preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays
- Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating baked goods
- Stack pallets and sort products into correct locations according to company efficiency standards under supervision
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environments by following company safety procedures
- Provide friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking special orders by phone and in person
- Promote product sales through suggestive selling initiatives
