Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work up to 20 hours per week mainly Monday - Thursday 2pm - 8pm and Saturday 4pm - 8pm
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to move, bend, handle, pull, reach, push and stoop as needed
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Prior experience in a bakery or food handling environment preferred
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Use bakery production charts as guides for production and displays
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- Decorate special order or case product
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular and predictable full attendance
