Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shift
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- willingness to follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- prior experience in baking or food production preferred but not required

- valid food handlers card
- customer service experience desirable
- retail experience desirable
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully stocked cases
- support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- possess knowledge of basic baked products (cakes, breads, cookies, pan dulce, special order cakes, etc.) and standard baking production equipment
- perform advanced baking methods and multitask
- effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and other employees
- conduct inventory on a regular basis to ensure proper levels
- maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
- work with various professional bakery equipment, including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
- take food orders in person and by telephone
- perform all other duties as assigned
