Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience from on-the-job training
- Ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Visual requirement include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without corrective lenses
- Depth perception
- Color vision ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Field of vision
- Ability to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Ability to work in noisy environments with temperature extremes and potential exposure to dangerous chemicals and electrical hazards
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables and limited standardization
Job Duties
- Mixes ingredients for line's product from production list
- Sets and maintains pace of line to ensure production quota is reached
- Maintains quality of product on production line
- Reports production line flow problems with supervisor
- Prepares ingredients for next day's scheduled product run
- Maintains cleanliness of work station during production
- Ensures formula sheets are filled out and temperatures are recorded
- Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction in a timely manner
- Cleans and sterilizes equipment at end of each day
- Unloads products and ingredients into refrigeration or freezer units
- Sorts and organizes products in storage areas
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time
