Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years of leadership experience
- certified bakery expert or equivalent preferred
- completion of H-E-B School of Retail Management training within the program timeline
- food safety certification
- forklift or power jack training
- ability to stand and lift 50 pounds
- capability to work in varying temperature environments including cooler and extreme heat
- ability to work extended hours including weekends and nights
- strong organizational, communication, and planning skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- effective delegation skills

Job Duties
- Supervise and coach bakery department Partners
- manage employment-related decisions including hiring and disciplinary actions
- prepare work schedules and control inventory
- develop and implement production plans to ensure product availability
- drive sales through merchandising and maintaining product variety
- monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- manage shrink control and department budgeting
