Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bakery operations preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent bending, standing, walking and other physical demands
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must be able to operate bakery equipment safely and effectively
- Must maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the bakery
- Ability to pass background check and comply with company policies

- Ability to operate mixers, ovens, bread slicers, and other bakery equipment
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Provide high-quality customer service in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Oversee bakery department operations and staffing
- Plan daily and weekly production, staff assignments, and scheduling
- Supervise bakery staff and provide training
- Monitor quality of bakery goods and services
- Maintain cleanliness of bakery areas including display cases and work surfaces
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local food safety and employee safety regulations and company policies
- Inform customers about bakery products and services, provide samples, and promote sales
- Take bakery orders in person or over the phone
- Maintain accurate inventory and record keeping
- Measure and prepare ingredients for baking
- Operate baking equipment such as mixers and ovens
- Shape and prepare dough and other products for baking
- Place dough in pans and bake products
- Transport baked goods to display areas
- Read and follow recipes and instructions
- Obtain stock and order supplies as needed
- Organize and clean work area
- Suggest inventory and pricing changes
- Adhere to uniform and grooming policies
