Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Three years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, or culinary experience
- Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of food safety and guest service

Job Duties
- Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service
- Make recommendations and accommodate guest requests
- Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and work to reduce shrink and damage
- Properly receive and stock goods following rotation standards to replenish product levels
- Handle, slice, and prepare a variety of specialty breads, pastry items and Convenient Meal Solutions throughout the day
- Direct teams to handle receiving, stocking, and merchandising of goods according to The Fresh Market standards
- Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members through on-the-job and internal training platform methods to provide excellent guest service safely and effectively
